Take a Number.
I just recently saw that movie “Taken” with Liam Neeson. And I was taken! The premise is essentially that a former spy (Liam Neeson) uses his skills to help rescue his daughter who was kidnapped and forced into a slave trade ring.
THIS IS NOT MORBID!
I had to attend two memorial services last week! Well, the memorial service was on a Wednesday night and the other, a viewing, was on a Friday night, both over an hour away from home. I am not a big fan of going to funerals, wakes, memorial services or anything like it.
How do we relax?
I just recently had my first experience at a Turkish/Russian spa. What an adventure! It was a Saturday morning in my little corner of New Jersey. I was supposed to be meeting a friend from my yoga class, Veronika, and others at this Turkish/Russian spa in Southampton, PA, just a half hour from my house.
Shellfish
Shellfish! They are my nemesis I believe. Shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels, I love them all but they don’t get along with me very well. I don’t indulge in them very often but when I do, I truly appreciate them giving their life to be enjoyed by those who partake in such extravagance. To all of

Contentment, or Santosha in the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali. Santosha is one of the niyamas of Yoga as listed by Patanjali. Contentment is variously described, but can be thought of as not coveting more than you have and is therefore very different to the way some modern western societies encourage the population to acquire more
The Philadelphia Flower Show
I couldn’t be a gardener or, well, plant enthusiast, with more pride than today. My plant, a fire stick pencil cactus- otherwise known as ‘Euphorbia Tirucalli Rosea’, was not only accepted into the Philadelphia Flower Show but I won SECOND PLACE in the succulent and cacti section…YEAH! I am so excited.
